The staging deck is assembled during episode setup. It normally contains all cards that potentially could come into play during the episode.

The staging deck is not shuffled. You are allowed to look at the cards in the staging deck at any time (but this is discouraged if you value narrative surprises). Cards in the staging deck can be in any order of your choice and can be reordered at any time.

Clarifications:

• If you are instructed to find a specific card in the staging deck that is not there, ignore the effect. (The game is designed for this to not happen. Please check, if you did set up the episode correctly.)
• The staging deck is a deck. Cards in the staging deck are out of play.
• The staging deck is public information.
