Your play zone contains your Character card, Character Tool with your tool kit under it, and all cards and tokens you acquire during the game. 

Face-up cards and markers in your play area are active or can be used.

Clarifications:

• The play zone is a zone. Components in the play zone are in play.
• Components in the play zone are not at the location where the character with this play zone is. See details under: Location.
• Action cards remain in the play zone after being played until they are placed in the discard pile at the end of the task (Step 11).
