Static Effects

Static effects are constantly active as long as the card with the effect is in play.

If multiple static effects are affecting each other:

  • Static effects from episode cards (or the storybook) are applied first, then effects from player cards are applied.
  • If two static effects from the same category affect each other, apply the effects in the order they came into play.

Examples for static effects:

  • “You treat the value on printed Skull modifiers as [+1].”
  • “You may perform an additional Fight action in your turn.”
  • “You have +1 Perception.”
  • “The last Secret cannot be removed from this Lead unless characters at this location have the following number of Attribute Markers and spend 1 charge from each of them.”
