Static effects are constantly active as long as the card with the effect is in play.
If multiple static effects are affecting each other:
- Static effects from episode cards (or the storybook) are applied first, then effects from player cards are applied.
- If two static effects from the same category affect each other, apply the effects in the order they came into play.
Examples for static effects:
- “You treat the value on printed Skull modifiers as [+1].”
- “You may perform an additional Fight action in your turn.”
- “You have +1 Perception.”
- “The last Secret cannot be removed from this Lead unless characters at this location have the following number of Attribute Markers and spend 1 charge from each of them.”
