When you recover an Action card, return that Action card to your hand. As a default, Action cards are recovered from the discard pile, but an effect can also reference other zones from which to recover cards.

Clarifications:

• After you play an Action card, it remains in your play zone until the end of a task. Therefore, it cannot be recovered while the action is still being performed, unless the card specifically references itself (as for example the Action card »Fake It Till You Make It«.)
