Additional Actions (and Tasks)

Additional actions (or tasks) are performed without flipping 1 of your action trackers to their spent side.

Clarifications:

  • Performing an additional action (or task) is optional.
  • Additional actions you are allowed to perform cannot be spent (for effects).
  • When you are told to perform an additional action (or task) you perform it at the next opportunity (after the current action), before spending your regular actions.
  • If you are told to perform multiple additional actions (or tasks), you may perform them in any order.
  • During another character’s turn, if you are told to perform an additional action (or task), you perform it during that character’s turn (immediately after the current action). This does not change who is currently the active character.
  • If a static effect allows you to perform an additional action (or task) during your turn, you may perform it the same turn the effect becomes active. (For example: the effect granted by the Tool »Insatiable Curiosity«.) When the card granting the effect leaves play, the effect ends instantly. Meaning, if you have not yet performed the additional action (or task), it is forfeited.
  • You can perform additional actions (or tasks) even if you already have spent all your regular actions.
  • Additional actions (or tasks) are temporary. They do not increase the number of regular action trackers you have. But you can optionally use the additional (green) action trackers included in the Base Game to track them. (Also see: Action Trackers.)
  • You forfeit all remaining additional actions (or tasks) when you end your turn.
  • You cannot perform additional actions (or tasks) during the encounter phase.
